Our solution

The central part of the site is a private 'work space' in which the documents created each working group would be shared for analysis firstly by group members and then by the project as a whole. This gave a concept of workflow, as documents gained wider audience on their way to publication on the public area of the site, where they are made available for free download as the project progresses.

Additionally, it is possible to begin a group or whole-project discussion in the work space, much as other web forums and discussion groups. We also created a publicly- accessible library. This provides a place for links to similar projects and items of interest online, and a bibliography of print publications. Submissions to the library are validated by project members before being published on the site. Within the private area, the progress of the project is documented with photographic reports of conferences. Administrative information, such as conference booking details, is available to members. You can view the site and browse the public areas at http://www.euintangibles.net
