The site www.bestcourseforgolf.org was launched in February 2004 and has grown in scope and engagement since then. Today it is available in five languages, with almost 3000 golf clubs from over 100 countries registered, many of them actively participating in the site's 'best practice checklist' programme.
In 2009 we launched a more ambitious 'benchmarking' programme which allows clubs to record and compare their quantitative environmental and economic performance and compare it with their peers through realtime graphs and reports.
Over 350 clubs in a number of countries have signed up for the benchmarking service to date.
Work on the site and the benchmarking area is ongoing.
