The University of Reading’s Facilities Management Directorate (FMD) wanted to promote the extensive range of services it provides to the University and external clients. We were asked to design and build a screen presentation for their reception area; this was to form the basis for future presentations by FMD.
We discussed the message and intended audience with our client before suggesting image and text treatment. The slides had to be eye-catching and informative but not text-heavy.
After agreeing on a design approach, we researched images and wrote the text for each slide.
We created a modular system that will allow future slides to be added seamlessly to the existing sets. We have created 29 slides to date; they form a randomised Flash presentation on the main screen in the FMD lobby. Work on this project is ongoing.
