Proforest are an international organisation helping governments and commercial organisations develop environmental policies and procedures.
Text Matters have worked with Proforest since 2001 when we developed a web-based multilingual questionnaire for them.
In 2005/6 we designed and built three Proforest-branded websites and redesigned their main website, updating them again in 2009. In 2010 Proforest went through a rebranding exercise and they asked us to design and build them a new website following their new brand. They also wanted to add more interactivity and visual interest.
We proposed a new site design based on some preliminary sketches from their branding agency (Neo Creative) and Proforest’s new brand document, adapting these and the mainly print-related guidelines they were based on so they would work on screen. We created several drafts of the site for discussion, with the client actively involved in the design process.
We also adapted the existing site architecture to better align with the philosophy of the new brand.
