The University of Exeter needed new maps for their three campuses. These maps needed to be easy to use and have a clear layout that reinforced the University’s brand values.
The project had three main stages; stage 1 was to create five small-scale maps [read the project report]. In stage 2 we designed three more maps to add to the family [read the project report], and in stage 3 we designed large-scale versions of the campus maps from stage 1 for on-site signs. These maps were to form part of a complete layout (incl. building lists etc) produced by the University.
We enlarged and tweaked the site maps to work at a large-scale and at the dimensions provided by the University.
We supplied artwork as layered Adobe Illustrator eps files within a week of agreeing a brief with our client.
